Thats was just a prototype for him to see. The Bugatti representatives took the car to also other Veyron owners in UAE to see the car.

From what i heard they sent they car for the VIP's who couldn't attend the car Launch..

I am new to this forum, want to start my first post with a question. In some posts is written that 20 Grand Sports are sold, in some posts apprears that 50 cars being sold. Which numbers are correct? Any new information?

50 are the Veyron Grand Sport reserved for the Bugatti Veyron Coupé Custmers, 20 are the effective Bugatti sold

5 of this 20 going to Dubai!!!

Thanks. So that means that 20 cars are sold totally for this moment or 50 reserved for Veyron Coupe customers and 20 more cars sold to first time customers?

Is there any updates since last news on how much Veyron Gran Sport are sold/spoken for?

Nothing official at the present time.

The production starts only beginning of march !

I know that production starts in March. It was interesting how Gran Sport reservation process is going in such financial crisis, where more and more countries being affected. And now there is much misunderatanding about number of cars sold/spoken for. At interview with Bugatti representative at Gran Sport presentation in Dubai he mentioned 20 sold cars with 5 going to GCC, there were some information before that about 50 cars reserved to current Veyron coupee owners, this means sold to them or what. It is very interesting to see how this reservation process in going and how many are sold or spoken for until end of 2008.

Bugatti doens't speak about the reservation process.

No change for the production ( not like Ferrari ) at the present time.

Thanks for information. It is great that Bugatti is still going great. With almost all Veyron Coupee reserved and such great start for the Gran Sport it is even no wonder about it. And it is great.

I've read somewhere that more than 300 Veyrons have been delivered, more than Mclaren ever managed with the F1 and closing in on the number of Enzos made. Yet the Veyron is much more expensive than either, why is it selling so well - especially now?

Bugatti represenatives told that there will be exact 300 Veyron Coupe and 150 Veyron Gran Sport. I believe it is impossible that all 300 Veyrons are delivered. May be all are spoken for customers, because I have heard of close to 290 cars reserved not so long time ago, I believe sales are boosted by recent launch of Hermes exclusive version and Sang Noir limited hyper-exclusive edition. It seems logical - Veyron Coupe order bank is closed with all customers are welcome to order Gran Sport. Speaking about Veyron relative market success, I can say only one thing - Veyron is one and only hypercar in the whole world with no competitors at all.
