What a coincidence… While walking with the dog through Dutch nature suddenly the sound of a classic 8 cylinder filled the air….. On the parking lot a type 35 arrived…. One thing I have learned from the past… If you spot one Bugatti in the wild…. Probably more will follow…Could not resist and took a couple of pictures for you….

Out of privacy reasons of the owners of these special cars no pictures are presented of the cars with the owners around it.

For more pictures via the link below

The start of it all Type 35 ##4843 arrives at the parking place ….

Star of the show was most probably this stunning original type 55 once owned by Ralph Lauren..

I have a dog as well. But no oldtimers when walking the dog. Probably I go to the wrong places...

Do you always carry a camera with you when walking the dog?

One of our fellow Bugattibuilder members (keesj) found some mistakes in the Chassis numbers. The Correct numbers are already mentioned under the pictures as presented in the first post.

Type 35 (was mentioned as #4955) must be #4843 (Not an original chassis number)

Type 57 (was mentioned as #57777) is #57438

The unpainted type 37 is a recreated type 37 #BC137 with engine 449 once fitted in type 40 #40557

Type 44 #441263

I found by chance this Bugatti in my research of old French license plate numbers for the Finistère department.

So, I can tell you that this car was licensed 6428-MB7 on 28/06/1938 in the Nord department, then licensed 6025-FJ3 in 08/1939 in the Finistère department. There is no following owner reported in the register, so the story ends here for me. The characteristics reported in the register show a gasoline Bugatti 44 #441263 with a power tax of 17CV in France.

I had also found another Bugatti, a type 27 #2711 licensed in the Seine department (Paris) 8446-RD7 on 01/03/1930, then licensed 1639-FJ1 on 17/06/1931 in the Finistère department. In the same way, there is no following owner outside the Finistère department.
