[24 Oct 07] :: Bugatti launch in Russia
news imageFrom the 12th - 14th of October the Bugatti Veyron made it's debut in Moscow.
The first day was the press day for invited journalists which took place at Mercery group showroom in the centre of Moscow. The Mercery group was announced as the offical and authorized Bugatti partner for Russia.
On the second day customers were invited to the restaurant AVENUE in the Luxury Village. Special test drives were offered to potential clients. The drives happened during heavy snow fall. Under these conditions normal Supercars would most likely not have even left the garage, while the Veyron performed superbly.

[18 Oct 07] :: Bentley Arnage gets Bugatti engine
news imageBentley sources have confirmed that the company has built a prototype Arnage fitted with the Bugatti Veyron’s 987bhp quad-turbo W16 engine.
Bentley boss Franz-Josef Paefgen — who is also president of Bugatti — is thought to be the driving force behind the project. It’s unclear whether this experiment will ever find its way into the showrooms, or how such a huge amount of power can be contained in a rear-drive car.
But a detuned version of the unit could make sense in a production Arnage, and would create one of the most sought-after special edition British cars ever made.
The current Arnage’s 6.75-litre V8 pumps out up to 500bhp, while the Flying Spur’s W12 packs even more: 552bhp. It seems likely, then that Bentley will want the new Arnage to pull ahead of its stablemate and offer even more power. It also means that the new Arnage might well be able to top the Flying Spur's 200mph-plus top speed.
A discussion on the future of Bugatti can be followed on the forum.
